The concept is simple:
One song, one shot, one night.
We invite an artist from our community to come record a track (or cover) of their choice. Then we mix & master it that same night and share it here + on our YouTube channel. No post audio editing, just great songs recorded through our incredible gear.
Talia Rae: Noatune Unplugged
Welcome to episode 1. We decided to kick off our new in-studio concert series with an original by @iamtaliarae: a 19-year old London based artist and friend of Noatune. A regular inside the studio and at our writing camps, Talia is a talented vocalist and songwriter. Accompanied by some beautiful playing from @_clemence____ 🎹
To record this track, we used the vintage Sony C-37A tube mic through our Telefunken V76 Mic Pre for vocals, and a pair of Coles 4038s + Neumann U47 FET via Neve 1073s to record our Yamaha U1 piano. Recorded & Mixed by our founder and session engineer @kristofferrylander all within the same night.
