A songwriting camp (or writing camp) is a creative workshop where artists, producers and songwriters collaborate to write and record new music over a few focused days. At Noatune Studios in Hackney, East London you’ll work in professional recording spaces and leave with finished demos and new collaborators.

Yes. Building real relationships is a core part of our camps. We carefully curate each group so you’re working with peers at a similar level, which makes collaboration natural. We also set up a private WhatsApp group for every camp so participants can organise their own lunches, socials and keep collaborating long after the weekend ends. Many alumni continue to write together and pitch songs after camp.

Across your camp days you’ll co-write, record and arrange in rotating groups. Pro Camps end with a listening session where you’ll share your tracks, get feedback and celebrate the music you’ve created. Emerging Camps begin with a workshop to set you up for success.

You’ll have access to Noatune’s professional recording setup, including Neumann U87 microphones, Neve 1073 preamps, Apollo interfaces, Focal monitoring and high-end instruments such as piano, guitars and synths. Everything you need to capture high-quality recordings is ready to use.

Applications are open through our website year-round. Spaces are limited to keep groups focused and productive, so early booking is recommended. International artists are welcome.
